iBrave Cloud Web Hosting: Lifetime Subscription

I have been locked out of the control panel and my ssh user has been deleted, i.e., I can't log into sftp. Hence, currently I have no access to my files and I can't configure my server. No response has been offered to my ticket for two weeks.

Over the years this company has provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Most recently I have been unable to access the c-panel and after submitting a high priority ticket, after more than a day there is no response and various parts of the service are not working eg: email, domain auto renewal and much more. I would caution against purchasing this package.

The hosting is old, they do not update the DB version even to a 2 year old stable version and it is needed for most one-click installs, and they are not so many, they offer limited apps, and they are old versions anyway, yet there is problem to install them and even after contacting support, they just ignore you. Also the ftp they offer is already dead and not supported by most, as it is not secure, they do not want to enable SFTP (what every ftp all is limited to use, as plain FTP is not secure and is risk). Lastly for two weeks now there is no option to connect to CP and all open tickets are ignored and nothing is done to solve the problem with managing the hosting. So be careful and do not purchase this offer, as it will be just waste of money and time... Really poor quality of the provided service as well as near to 0 support, as even when they where replying to the tickets, they just didn't want to help you and just closed the tickets saying "the admins decide when and how to update the software". so no way to submit requests, and only provide something with 0 support and 0 updates for, as it appears, many years now.

Purchased Lifetime Subscription on Jul 22, 2023, worked great, now all the sudden the account doesn't work anymore, hosted a few simple landing page sites. Avoid purchasing, they'll just toss your account out for no reason, 0 support too, asked why the account no longer works, been days now.

After having for about 6 months I am having email server issues, tried getting in to control panel to login and it comes up with a message "Action Failed Unable to auto-login. Please contact support. " I have entered multiple tickets and the tickets are never read. I am assuming that the company is no longer active.

Overall, it's a good deal as being a lifetime subscription. They try to do everything for you, but eventually, the catch is that if you don't know about hosting (and DNS in particular), then you end up paying much more than this. That said, the domain registration for your hosting, when done through iBrave, is quite pricey compared to any other domain registrar (e.g., Namecheap). But if you have a domain with Namecheap, for instance, then you won't have the free SSL certs unless you transfer the domain which again costs quite an amount of money. The control panel also sucks a bit. You cannot directly login to the control panel with the credentials. You have to log in to ibrave.host first, then click through several links until you reach the control panel. This sucks, to be honest, but can live with it. If I were unaware of DNS and had a domain with another registrar, I would give 2-3 stars only as being a "trap". But since I can manage everything nicely, I can give more stars. Because of the control panel thingy, I only give 4 out of 5.
